Liebe Freunde,

wolltet Ihr schon immer einmal das Dach der Welt sehen und nach Nepal reisen? Oder möchtet Ihr wieder einmal dorthin? Oder kennt Ihr jemanden, dessen Herzenswunsch dies ist? Dann haben wir eine besondere Empfehlung für Euch. Und eine besondere Bitte: Lest und teilt. 

Unsere Mission ist es, Nepal nach vorne zu bringen. Und während nach dem Shutdown unsere Produktion schon wieder nahezu stabil läuft und wir nur noch auf die Lieferung der neuen neyo.-Kollektion warten hat es unseren langjährigen Weggefährten Bharat hart getroffen. Er ist Inhaber der Trekking-Agentur www.himalecotreks.com, die sich nachhaltigem Trekking verschrieben haben. Von den Touren in diesem Land leben ganz viele Familien – nicht nur die Sherpas und Träger. Trekking ist extrem wichtig für Nepal und kaum woanders auf der Welt so faszinierend!

Alle seine gebuchten Touren wurden von den Reiseorganisationen für dieses Jahr storniert. Wahrscheinlich ohne Ausgleich. So genau haben wir nicht hinterfragt. Nun wurde kurzfristig von der Regierung entschieden, dass ab 17. Oktober 2020 wieder Touren angeboten werden dürfen. Bharat (unten im Bild mit dem roten T-Shirt) und sein Team sind bereit, es braucht nur noch ausreichend schnell entschlossene Gäste. Die Saison geht von jetzt bis Mitte Dezember und dann wieder von Anfang März bis Ende Mai. 

Wir sind mit Bharat bereits den Helambu-Trek, Langtang, und Annapurna South gegangen. Dies sind schöne Einstiegstouren in den Himalaya – wer eine Stunde Joggen kann, der schafft das auch. Auch individuelle Touren bietet Bharat an, was besonders schön sein kann – wir erinnern uns an jemanden, der mit ihm und Freunden seinen 50sten Geburtstag im Langtang-Tal feierte und noch immer davon schwärmt. himalecotrek bietet von Hüttentouren mit Trägern bis zu Zelttouren mit Yaks immer das an, was die Region erfordert. We have already done the Helambu Trek, Langtang, and Annapurna South with Bharat. These are nice introductory tours in the Himalayas – if you can jog for an hour, you can do this. Bharat also offers individual tours, which can be particularly beautiful – we remember someone who celebrated his 50th birthday with him and friends in the Langtang Valley and still raves about it.
